Redlands, USA, 5 February 2007 – ESRI has announced that it has signed an agreement with geoVue, a provider of location optimization tools. ESRI will provide its ArcGIS Server enterprise GIS platform, data, and support to geoVue to develop integrated solutions that capitalize on geographic analysis for multilocation businesses.
The new application combines ESRI’s ArcGIS platform with geoVue Enterprise, a powerful Web services-based platform for retail and franchise site selection, market planning, and sales forecasting. The result is a seamless integration of advanced, powerful geographic analysis, visualization, and data handling capabilities with real-time sales and trade information.
The companies signed formal business agreements in late 2006 and are completing final developments and release strategies. GeoVue plans to begin rollout of the new solution to key customers in the first quarter of 2007.
