31 May 2006: GeoLytics released the GeocodeCD Version 3.1 with improved address matching based on the latest 2005 TIGER/Line Files. Version 3.1 improves geocoding efficiency by upgrading from the 2004 TIGER/Line Files to the 2005 TIGER/Line Files as its geographic source data.

The GeocodeCD offers geocoding at 2 million records/hour on a 2 gig machine. Geocoders match addresses to their specific latitude/longitude coordinates and then append the Census designation. For added specificity, Census block numbers are assigned. This can be done for an individual address or for a list of thousands or millions of addresses (batch mode).

In addition, with a GeoLytics GeocodeCD users can choose from up to 60 demographic variables that can be automatically appended to your address list. The GeocodeCD appends demographic variables based on the Census 2000 Long Form, such as race, age, income, housing value, employment and more.
