Virginia, USA, 1 Aug 2006: GeoEye announced on August 1 that Timothy J. Puckorius, Senior Vice President of International Sales and Marketing, is leaving to pursue other opportunities. He will continue to support the company as a consultant and strategic advisor on key international programs. The company also announced that Paolo E. Colombi will immediately assume Puckorius’ day-to-day functional role as head of GeoEye’s International Business Unit. He joined GeoEye in March of this year as the second in command of the International Business Unit.
Puckorius successfully served in many different management positions and was instrumental in helping the company successfully complete its financial restructuring in 2003, the award of its $500 million Pentagon NextView contract in 2004 and the refinancing of its debt in 2005.
