Harrisburg, Pa. GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce the promotions of two key staff members. Jonathan Pollack was promoted to senior vice president, and Brendan Wesdock was promoted to vice president.
Pollack, based in GeoDecisions’ headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., is responsible for leading strategic planning and business development for the firm’s military and homeland security practice. Pollack also manages and guides GeoDecisions’ overall technology direction.
Prior to assuming his new role, Pollack served as vice president of advanced technologies and managed the firm’s military and homeland security practice. He holds a bachelor of arts in anthropology from Beloit College and both a master of arts in anthropology and a master of science in soil science from The Pennsylvania State University. Pollack also serves as chair of the Pennsylvania Institute of Homeland and Defense Technologies and is a member of National Defense Industry Association (NDIA).
Based in the firm’s Newport News, Va., office, Wesdock is responsible for the direction of GeoDecisions’ military practice and for managing GeoDecisions’ patented IRRIS® technology program. IRRIS is an enterprise Web portal that supports transportation security and logistics for U.S. state and federal agencies. In this role, Wesdock oversees the IRRIS development staff, manages client relationships, and helps direct the development and future enhancements of IRRIS technology.
Prior to assuming his new role, Wesdock served as director of military solutions. He holds a bachelor of science in geography from The Pennsylvania State University. Wesdock is a member of NDIA and the Society of American Military Engineers. He is also a Microsoft® Certified Professional.
