GeoConcept SA, announced revenues of Euro 6.5 million (a rise of 30%) and a net profit of Euro 1 million for the financial year 2002-03. This is the 11th profitable year for GeoConcept SA in its 13-year history, and shows strong growth in spite of a difficult economic climate. Two major events for customers, partners and prospective customers attracted international interest and achieved high attendance: GeoConcept Escales 2003 (450 attendees) and GeoWorld 2003 (400 attendees). Today GeoConcept SA has sold 80,000 licenses and its customer base totals more than 6,000.
Commenting on the results, GeoConcept SA President Eric Lanzi said: “GeoConcept’s excellent results for this last financial year were based on a variety of factors. First our focus on customer and prospective customer needs when planning and developing our product range. One example is the availability of a new family of solutions aimed specifically at the geomarketing, logistics and mobile services markets.”
