GeoBolivia provides the geological map of the country

This April, GeoBolivia provides to its users the Geological Map of Bolivia and the mosaics of geologic maps at scales of 1:100,000 and 1:250,000 available since March 2014, according to the information published by the Geological and Technical Mining Service (SERGEOTECMIN).

The data set presents the geological and structural information of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, that is to say, the geological features of the country, the distribution of different types of rocks and the outcrops at the surface, their shape and relations among them, besides the geological structures that appear such as faults, folds and unconformities, geologic age, mineralogy and their tectonic structure.

Additionally, the coverage of the geologic maps of the national territory will be available at scales of 1:250,000 and 1:100,000.
