Tripod Data Systems (TDS) and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM)
announced that they are presenting a one-day data collection training course Sunday, April 21, at the FIG/ACSM/ASPRS Spring 2002 Conference.
“This session will help beginning data collector users learn advanced operations,” said Scott Fisher, TDS training manager. “We’ll be using the TDS Ranger hardware and TDS Survey Pro software–the most popular data collection combination.”
The course will cover repetition, off-center shots, construction stake-out instruction and road layout routines. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data collectors for the hands-on portion of the course covering data collection and total stations. This full-day course is free to all ACSM show attendees.
