Caceres: Acciona Agua, a water service provider in the province of Caceres has begun to implement area management system for drinking water that will instantly monitor the quality of water, eating counters and state of the network. Thus, the city of Cáceres, which already belongs to the RECI (Spanish Network of Smart Cities), is a pioneer in incorporating the concept of “smart city “water supply.

This will be integrated in a single software platform using Geographic Information System, a large number of sensors will monitor water quality and the mathematical model to predict the behavior of the supply system, among other technologies, that will develop advanced management strategies of the business.
