Ecuador: Students and researchers can get direct access of Ecuadorian NEE-O1 (Pegasus), Ecuador’s first satellite, according to astronaut Ronnie Nader at the Ecuadorian Civilian Space Agency (EXA). Nader said, “It is the only satellite in Latin America that will be accessed directly by students.”

Pegasus weighs 1.2 kilograms. It measures 75 inches long and 10 inches high. It costs USD 50000. It will be launched by Dnepr vehicle RS20 from Russia in September, 2012.
