Expanded scope of exhibit amplifies GeoSpatial World 2003 conference

GeoSpatial World 2003 will open next month with its Products, Projects and Solutions Exhibit highlighting an increased number of vendors that represent an expanded scope of technology and services for geospatial solutions. GeoSpatial World 2003, the annual international training and management conference of the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), will be held May 19 -21 in New Orleans, La. Complementing this year’s geospatial solutions program of technical presentations and industry solutions, product updates, thematic sessions, IGUC Network meetings and hands-on and lecture workshops is the GeoSpatial World Products, Projects and Solutions Exhibit that features an expanded number and variety of vendors. A breadth of technology, products and services at this year’s GeoSpatial World exhibit offers executives, managers and technicians the opportunity to one-stop shop, network and learn about the changing landscape of the industry. Exhibitor demonstrations will showcase products and technology for cartography and map production, transportation and land management, homeland security, geospatial infrastructure management and geospatial resource management. New this year in the GeoSpatial World exhibit hall is a demo theater that will highlight multimedia and interactive demonstrations. A concentrated exhibit schedule featuring times with fewer competing conference sessions has also been added, providing further interaction between show attendees and exhibiting companies. The exhibition opens Sunday, May 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. with a reception co-hosted by Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions and Hewlett-Packard.
