ESRI is pleased to announce the ESRI Telecommunications and Location-Based Services (LBS) Summit 2002. The Third Annual Telecom and LBS Summit will be held at the Renaissance Dallas–Richardson Hotel, Richardson, Texas, April 17–18, 2002.
“The ESRI Telecom Summit is for any ESRI user, potential user, or partner with a special interest in the telecommunications industry,” says Kees van Loo, telecommunications industry manager, ESRI. “The Telecom Summit is a dynamic forum for ESRI telecommunication users to network, find solutions, and unify in order to effect technology enhancements for telecom applications in ESRI geographic information system (GIS) software.”
Previous attendees represented wireless carriers, local and long-distance companies, fixed wireless carriers, competitive local exchange carriers, equipment manufacturers, consultants, data conversion companies, and many more.
With hundreds of attendees, the summit is a unique opportunity for ESRI telecommunication users to meet with other ESRI users, ESRI staff, information technology managers, executives, engineers, planners, customer relationship management professionals, and dispatch officers to discuss important issues and exchange information and ideas on how GIS technology can help solve complex problems within each industry. This two-day event will include presentations by GIS professionals from around the world, a plenary session with a keynote address by an industry leader, vendor exhibits, and breakout sessions.
