The ESRI Business Information Solutions (ESRI BIS) Sourcebook·America CD with ESRI’s ArcReader mapping display software is now available. The same high-quality demographic data available in the printed Sourcebook of ZIP Code Demographics and the Sourcebook of County Demographics are included along with ESRI BIS proprietary search, sort, and query software. ESRI’s ArcReader map display software is integrated into the Sourcebook·America CD, enabling users to produce presentation-quality maps that illustrate key demographic data. This new mapping format also allows users to pan, zoom, identify, and retrieve information about any map feature.
ArcReader is a new addition to the ArcGIS Desktop family of software. It is a free, easy-to-use software package that allows users to view, explore, and print published map files (PMFs). ArcReader was designed for viewing and sharing maps that access a wide variety of dynamic geographic data. The goal of ArcReader is to provide significantly increased access to maps throughout all parts of an organization. Anyone with ArcReader can now access high-quality maps created by ArcGIS Desktop.
The Sourcebook·America CD is used by businesses across all industries, universities, and government agencies that need to reference demographic data for U.S. ZIP Codes and counties. The Sourcebook·America CD is also found in the reference sections of many public libraries.
