ER Mapper’s Image Web Server selected by CLEAR

The University of Connecticut’s Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR) in US has acquired ER Mapper’s Image Web Server to support the delivery of research-based Remote Sensing and GIS Products. Image Web Server is a specialized, high performance application that serves large volumes of image data via a Local Area Network or the Internet. UConn has joined ER Mapper’s RightLearn ER Educational Site License Program. RightLearn provides unlimited access to ER Mapper technologies, in and out of the classroom, for one low-cost subscription fee.

CLEAR provides information, education and assistance to land use decision makers on how to protect natural resources while accommodating economic growth. CLEAR conducts remote sensing research, develops landscape analysis tools and training, and delivers outreach education programs. CLEAR will be utilizing ER Mapper’s Image Web Server to provide a variety of geospatial data to scientific, decision-maker, and citizen communities.
