EPSON Electronics America has announced that the newest Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver module to provide excellent low-power consumption. Designated the S4E39860, the GPS receiver module consumes only 100mW at 3.3 volts, making it one of the most conservative chips in the industry.

Housed in a sleek, thin 7-gram package of just 34.8mm wide, by 25.8mm deep and 6mm high, the S4E39860 is perfect for standard mobile, PC card, automotive and custom OEM applications.
