Malaysia: E-Mapping Solutions Sdn Bhd (EMS) unveiled a latest version of its database, SmartMap 2010.06 for Malaysia. The new maps feature the addition of point per lot house number data based on GPS measurements on approximately 89,000 kilometres of roads in Peninsular Malaysia and 18,000 kilometres of major roads and 7,000 POI across East Malaysia.
The application provides locations and navigation contents for the country. According to Song Lua, the General Manager of EMS, the strategy is to deliver the most comprehensive, utmost quality and most up-to-date map database and navigation content to the users. She also declared that the company will work hard for more advanced features in its applications in the coming years and continue to meet consumer requirement.
