The Netherlands: European LiDAR Mapping Forum (ELMF) is to be launched on November 30, 2010, but the exhibition area which was increased by three times compared with last year is completely sold out, inform exhibitors. The forum will be held in The Hague, the Netherlands, on November 30 and December 1, 2010. More than 500 delegates and over 50 companies are likely to participate in the forum this year.
The theme of ELMF is “LiDAR Across The Market Spectrum”, and the conference programme will feature technical presentations by the industry leaders and opinion formers. With three conference tracks, technical papers will report on actual projects in: airborne use of LiDAR for urban and rural mapping, transport and rail asset management; bathymetric mapping along the coastal zone, and a whole session devoted to technologies and operations in the fast-emerging market sector of mobile mapping.
In addition to the technical conference, delegates can attend 12 workshops aimed at providing novice operators, their managers and potential purchasers of equipment with an understanding of the basic principles and fundamental benefits and technology associated with LiDAR.
