Digital map maker TRAXmap has released the first digital maps of west African cities Lagos, Abuja, Accra and Port Harcourt, amongst others for free use on the internet. TRAXmap has released its digital maps of west African cities for free use by anyone searching for geographical data of these regions. These maps include street names and point of interest data. TRAXmap has also released detailed country maps of every west African country that include the spot positions of every town and village, as well as all major highways. These maps are upgraded monthly by TRAXmap map makers. Additionally TRAXmap employs local people on the ground to collate, check and prove data in all West African countries. Maps created by TRAXmap are currently used extensively by government agencies, for planning and urban analysis purposes, and TRAXmap uses these maps in house for use with its proprietary tracking systems which are designed to work in parts of the world where maps do not exist.
