Digital Harbor, provider of software for building and running Composite Applications, announced that it has joined ESRI’s Business Partner Program, and will use ESRI’s MapObjects–Java software to add powerful geospatial capabilities.
Composite Applications allow users to combine data and functionality from many existing systems so that they can more easily see and act upon the complete picture of a situation. By incorporating mapping information through ESRI, Digital Harbor will be able to make existing information more valuable by putting it in the context of space. Users will now be able to correlate information contained in maps with other information that comes from operational databases, web services, business processes, or business events. Geospatial information is being applied in an increasing number of business domains, including supply chain/logistics, utilities outage management, defence, homeland security, sales, customer relationship management, and risk management.
The ESRI Business Partner Program is a network of more than 1,600 domestic and international developers, consultants, data publishers, and resellers who, utilizing ESRI technology, provide solutions to meet the GIS needs of every industry.
