DCSE, Inc., a California-based software company that develops software solutions for the water, utility, and environmental markets, today announced the latest release of its Map Library software product. This newest release introduces support for Oracle 8 (and higher) as well as an improved user interface.
“This new release will enable large companies and agencies that have a need for an enterprise solution to adopt Map Library while leveraging their investment in the Oracle database,” said Ali Diba, President and CEO of DCSE.
The Map Library application comes with support for Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database software. It also comes with an extension to ArcMap by ESRI, which is built using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) technologies and allows the GIS professional to remain in his environment of choice throughout the publishing process. Metadata about the map that is being submitted to Map Library is automatically captured during the archiving process.
