Paris, October 7, 2014: Dassault Systèmes, leading 3D software company and AKKA Technologies have announced a long-term partnership to foster innovation in the driverless, connected vehicle market.
Under the partnership, the two companies will provide high-end engineering services and solutions to help the global automotive industry.
Smart, driverless vehicles, a result of collaboration between the automotive sector and the digital economy, are a perfect example of the cloud-enabled consumer experience. AKKA will concentrate on evolving a driverless, smart concept car known as the Link&Go while Dassault Systèmes will aim to provide its 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a cloud-based collaborative business platform, to AKKA.
This long-term alliance between the automotive and digital sector highlight an ideal example of the cloud-enabled consumer experience.
