CRCSI shines at Victoria Spatial Excellence Awards

Australia: Mal McCoy, the Board Director of the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI), was announced as the ‘Victorian Spatial Professional of the Year’ at the 9th Victorian Spatial Excellence Awards last night. CRCSI researcher Nathan Quadros was awarded ‘Young Spatial Professional of the Year’.
CSCRI Science Director Kim Lowell won the ‘Award for Sustainability & Environment: Carbon Farming Initiative for the Savannah Burning Abatement Tool (SavBAT)’. Colin Plumb won the ‘Service to the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Community Award’. The Vic Department of Environment and Primary Industry won the ‘People and Community Award’.
