County of Hawaii switches to MWH Soft Advanced Geospatial Technology

The Department of Water Supply is a semi-autonomous agency of the County of Hawaii, which operates by rules and regulations adopted by the Water Board. As a semi-autonomous agency, the Department funds the operation and maintenance of its water systems with revenues generated solely through water sales. The primary function of the Department is to provide safe domestic water service through its 24 water systems and 67 sources scattered throughout the island.

H2OMAP will replace the existing modeling system, providing a comprehensive GIS-based solution for modeling, managing, securing, and optimizing the Department’s drinking water infrastructure. The H2OMAP software suite addresses every facet of utility infrastructure management and protection – delivering the highest rate of return in the industry.
