Costa Rica develops cadastral map of municipality

South Chapadao, Costa Rica: A cadastral survey of rural properties in the South Chapadao area has been completed. The survey, which lasted for 10 months, registered and mapped 744 properties in the municipality.

The survey would help in formulating better administrative and general plans of the municipality. According to Mayor Krug Jocelito, the survey will be critical for planning new investments in South Chapadao.

A rural cadastral map has also been prepared for the municipality. Around CRC 120,000 were spent on collection of data and satellite imagery for the survey.
