New Delhi-based Indian Infrastructure Group is organizing a one-day conference on application of GIS in the infrastructure sector on 3rd June 2004 at hotel The Grand, New Delhi. The theme of the conference is “GIS In Infrastructure: Promise & Potential, Experience So Far”. The Group is into publication of Indian Infrastructure, Power Line and tele.net magazines.
The mission of the conference is to highlight the promise / potential of GIS applications in infrastructure development and to showcase the experience so far. The conference plans to cover all major infrastructure sectors viz., power, telecom, oil & gas, roads & bridges, ports & shipping, railways, urban infrastructure, water / sanitation, etc.
