Comtech Telecommunications Corp. received $1.4 million contract

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that it has recently received an order for $1.4 million for mobile data communications equipment. The order was awarded to the Company’s Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. The order is for the supply of L-Band mobile aviation terminal transceivers, for use on several helicopter platforms currently operating in Iraq and Afghanistan. These orders relate to Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below – Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness command and control system.

Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., a Germantown, Maryland-based company, is engaged in the provision of satellite-based packet data communication systems and location and messaging services for the land transportation, remote sensing, utility and aviation markets.
