Azteca Systems, Inc. have announced that Cityworks successfully met the criteria for becoming the first NAGCS (National Association of GIS-Centric Software) certified application. NAGCS certification distinguishes Cityworks as an authorized GIS-Centric solution for Asset Maintenance Management.
NAGCS is an association of ESRI authorized developers dedicated to setting apart GIS-based software applications through a rigid certification process. Some criteria for certification include: ESRI geodatabase as the feature database, non-redundant feature data storage, fully user-definable feature data model and customizable without vendor support. NAGCS certification will ensure clients and users of Cityworks’ unique characteristics as a GIS-centric software option.
