City of Boynton Beach selects Orion and AMEC to implement OnPoint solution

Florida, USA, 27 April 2007: Orion Technology and AMEC announced that they have been selected to implement Orion’s enterprise Web-GIS solution, OnPoint Professional, for the ITS Department in the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.

The City of Boynton Beach is located in southern Palm Beach County, Florida with a population of 67,071. The ITS Department plans, designs, develops and maintains the City’s information processing, telecommunications systems, and GIS services. In partnership with other City Departments, they provide strategic direction, business solutions, efficient use and management of information technology and telecommunications to deliver effective government services.

The GIS department of City of Boynton Beach chose the Orion AMEC team to apply their skills and experience in Web-GIS in conducting this implementation.
