China Public Security contracted to develop Crime Monitoring System

Shenzen City, China, 30 May 2007: China Public Security Technology announced that iASPEC, its contracting partner, has been awarded a phase I contract by Zhuhai Special Economic Zone for installing its Police-Use GIS. Public Security, as subcontractor to iASPEC, will perform all of the services required under this contract.

Under the contract China Public Security provides Zhuhai Special Economic Zone with system operations and supporting services in connection with its PGIS Platform. On PGIS platform CPST will develop an application for police forces to mange their resources and to guide them properly during emergency situations and crime monitoring by developing an emergency response system.

The PGIS platform will help Zhuhai professionals with mapping services, geographic positioning services for automated police patrol area monitoring, patrol history tracking, and Crime monitoring and other services.
