China: CBERS-3 satellite has been transported from the space centre in Beijing to Taiyuan launch base (TSLC). The satellite is scheduled to be launched in the first half of December. CBERS-3 is the fourth satellite developed under the earth observation satellite agreement signed between China and Brazil.
The China–Brazil Earth Resources Satellite program (CBERS) is a technological cooperation programme between Brazil and China which develops and operates earth observation satellites. The satellite will undergo certain tests before the final launch.
