The webpage www.atlasdelajusticia.cl has, until this date, over 3000 georeferenced points: tribunal, courts, justice services, solicitors, among others. In the Atlas of Justice, this portfolio becomes part of the “Spatial Data Infrastructure” – IDE Chile – a virtual platform that integrates and translates to the same language databases and geographical information available from public agencies.
Introduced in late January by the Ministry of Justice, the tool allows finding, in a single website, the whole relevant information about the Chilean justice sector.
The denominated Atlas of Chilean Justice is an interactive tool that allows web access to georeferenced information of justice sector and cross it with other variables such as socioeconomic data, a territorial approach, through maps, graphs and data tables. This is how it lets you know where to find each of the actors of justice, as the Court of Appeals, civil, criminal and family courts, notaries of each point of the country, to know also what is the territory it occupies, the address and phone numbers. It is possible to get a snapshot of a specific court, namely the number of income causes, judgments, officials, among other variables.
