US: The Census Bureau has launched a web-based application that allows planning and economic development users to explore regional data from the Bureau’s economic programs and the American Community Survey. Though available in its beta version, the Bureau has made it available to users. Known as Regional Analyst Edition, the tool allows users to select the economic sector, location, and data variable via an interactive map.
This is the second edition of the app and includes a new feature that allows users to create a report from an entire region and individual business sectors within the region. In additional features, it includes trend charts that identify overtime data changes, and data comparing with neighbouring countries and downloadable and printable reports with regional summary and county-level information.
