CBS produces a geospatial investigation drama

US: CBS has ordered a script development for a drama based on The Pawn by Steven James, according to a press release issued by Larkin-Goldstein Productions. The company is developing a drama series in association with ABC Studios. The Pawn is one of an eight-book series that follows FBI Agent Patrick Bowers, who uses geospatial investigative techniques to solve crimes.

The real life, controversial process is used by law enforcement agencies across the United States. Geo-profilers use locations, times, computer technology, and the geography of the crime to track down criminals and solve crimes.

Charles Murray is represented by Scott Siedel at WME, and Dianne Fraser at Industry Entertainment. Larkin-Goldstein is represented by attorney Thomas Collier of Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, Rosenthal. Steven James is represented by Brian Lipson at IPG

The project will be produced by Michael Goldstein and Michael Larkin of Larkin-Goldstein Productions. The script will be written by Charles Murray (Criminal Minds, Castle).
