Alexandria, USA, September 14, 2007: The Carbon Project announced that it is expanding its presence in the US Government Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) market through a reseller partnership with Great-Circle Technologies, Inc. (GCT).
Through this agreement, GCT will market, resell, and integrate The Carbon Project’s products into tailored solutions for the US Government. It will focus on advancing CarbonArc PRO, an OGC Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) 1.0 interoperability extension for ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.2 software, and CarbonTools PRO, an extension to the Microsoft .NET Framework for advanced location content handling, mapping and sharing.
“The addition of GCT, as a new partner and reseller of our products, greatly enhances our presence in this important market,” said Jeff Harrison, President and CEO of The Carbon Project. “The Carbon Project already has several US Government customers and we are looking forward to offering them better product support as well as expanding our market presence through GCT” added Harrison.
