GOLDSBORO, N.C., USA – City of Folsom, California has implemented LGdispatch Community Connect, LGmobile Community Connect, and LGroute. LGdispatch Community Connect is a mapping interface that provides E-911 dispatchers with an interactive map displaying the location of emergency calls. It is integrated with AVL allowing the dispatcher to view a public safety vehicle’s location in real time. The application has the ability to perform historic call mapping, historic AVL mapping, and E-911 call mapping.
LGmobile Community Connect is a GIS software solution that allows LG users to integrate AVL with the LGmobile software. LGmobile allows officers in the field to view critical GIS and 911 call data. The software allows GPS enabled vehicles to be tracked via the GIS interface. It takes GPS data from vehicles and places a moving map symbol on the GIS map interface that corresponds to the vehicles location in the real world. Historical AVL information is maintained with the product.
LGroute offers users of the GTG LG Suite of products new routing functionality such as finding the most efficient travel route, generating travel directions, finding the closest facility, or defining service areas based on travel time.
