CADD Centre goes into Operation in Bangladesh

CADD Centre India (Pvt) Ltd, a reputed CAD & Grafx training institution in the Asia- Pacific region, has started activities in the country recently at Panthapath, Dhaka to add, what the company officials claimed, value to the knowledge and skill of our professional engineers so that they can utilize their capability to the maximum extent more effectively for the benefit of themselves, their organization and the country on a whole.

Vice chancellor of Islamic University of Technology Dr. M.Anwar Hossain inaugurated the engineering software-training centre as chief guest. Presided over by K Rahmatullah,Chairman of Win-Win Infosys Ltd., Master Licensee of CADD Centre in the country, the inaugural ceremony was attended, among others, by Sudhir Kumar, International Business Manager of CADD Centre, Hassan Tariq, managing director & Mohiuddin Mahboob, director(marketing) of Win-Win Infosys Ltd.,and executives of leading engineering and construction companies.

The chief guest in his speech emphasized on the importance of this kind of training and the need for taking such kind of software training to other parts of the country. He also urged to the local engineers to make the best use of the opportunity and to compete in the global market. Stressing on the need for engineering software training, Mr. K Rahmatullah, Chairman of the company, said that developed countries need thousands of engineers having proficiency in design and drafting. Therefore, courses on computer aided design (CAD) is definitely going to help our engineers to get better employment in those countries.

Mr. Hassan Tariq said,” what we’re offering is unique and for the first time in Bangladesh”. “We’re not teaching merely a software, we rather offering industry specific skill using entire range of software for design, analysis, documentation and testing”, he underlined. Mr. Sudhir Kumar gave a detailed presentation on the target segments for CAD, GIS, Project Planning and Management, courses. He also explained the unique features of CADD centre like the industry specific curriculum, world-class course material, instructional excellence, high quality infrastructure etc.

However, the newly established India based CADD centre will offer industry specific courses in Civil CADD, Mechanical CADD, Architectural CADD, Electrical CADD,GIS, Project Planning & Management and Colorgrafx and Multimedia. Along with AutoCAD, this centre will also teach Computer Aided Testing, Finite Element Modeling, Software Analysis and Presentation using Multimedia, which is very essential in our development effort.
