Cadcorp obtains ISO certification

Stevenage, UK, 12 June 2007: Digital mapping and GIS software developer Cadcorp has been awarded both ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2000 certification.

ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification relates to the management of information security within an organisation. It was awarded to Cadcorp on 27 April, 2007 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance and applies to the company’s management of its IT infrastructure and data in support of all company activities at its London and Stevenage offices.

One month earlier, on 22 March, 2007, the company received renewal of its existing ISO 9001:2000 certification, again from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, for the quality management system applicable to the design, development, installation and distribution of software for GIS, as well as the company’s associated project management, application development, customer training and consultancy services.
