CACI to supply geographic information support

5 June 2006: CACI International Inc. has won a two-year; $33 million contract to provide services supporting GIS to the Defense Intelligence Agency. The Arlington-based contractor will help the defense agency incorporate GIS technology, data sources, analytical techniques and advanced visualization technology into the agency’s Urban Analysis Center battle laboratory and the Defense Department’s Intelligence Information System.

The work was awarded under the Strategic Services Sourcing contract, a 10-year, $19.3 billion program for engineering, logistics and acquisition services for Army command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. CACI was one of seven contractors to win a spot on the program.
