Bulgaria joins European Space Agency

Bulgaria: The government endorsed a draft agreement with the European Space Agency and authorized the Minister of Economy and Energy to sign it. The Agency is the inter-governmental organisation engaged with the space policy of the European Union. Joining its activities would allow Bulgarian enterprises and scientific organisations access to projects for working out and implementing highly technological products and services. Currently Bulgarian companies have no right to take part in projects the Agency financed, even if they are only subcontractors.
