Corporate hotel account management and reservations agency BSI has chosen Maporama to provide mapping and routing products on its client-specific intranet sites. Diageo, the premium drink business with 72,000 employees in more than 180 countries, is the first client to benefit from the collaboration between BSI and Maporama.
Maporama’s street-level maps have been fully integrated into Diageo plc’s intranet travel site that provides its staff with comprehensive information on the group’s preferred hotel programme spanning the world.
Accessible by staff in any Diageo location around the world, BSI has created the site so that it is now easy to find detailed information on any preferred hotel via the hotel-locator facility. In a single click, users can access detailed area street maps, with the ability to pinpoint all hotels near Diageo offices. As a further aid to the ease and efficiency of trip planning, Maporama also provides a detailed door-to-door itinerary facility.
Other practical functionalities, such as sending the map/routing directions via email, exporting it to a PDA, or printing in high-definition for reference when travelling, are also accessible in a single mouse click.
