Blue Marble to donate a portion of April sales to Arbor Day Foundation

Washington, USA, 20 March 2007: Blue Marble Geographics announced that a percentage of their April sales revenue will be donated to the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of Earth Day 2007. A portion of each Blue Marble application and development tool that is sold during the month will help Blue Marble further in its commitment to the environment.

“It is important to us as a company, to our employees as individuals, and to me personally that we make an attempt to help the environment in some small way. We feel that bringing attention to Earth Day can help remind people that there are things we can all do,” said Patrick Cunningham, President of Blue Marble. “The Arbor Day Foundation is a great cause because they have a simple message. Beyond donating money, we want to remind folks to consider planting a tree this spring.”

About The National Arbor Day Foundation: The National Arbor Day Foundation is a nonprofit, environmental education organization of nearly one million members, with a mission to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees.
