Bentley has announced that it is showcasing its premier plant solutions for creating, managing and publishing engineering content in Salon 3 at the daratechPLANT2002 conference in Houston, Texas. BASF, CH2M Hill, Hatch, and Montgomery Watson Harza will conduct Bentley user presentations. In addition, several plant software vendors at the same event will demonstrate how Bentley’s software can be integrated with their products enabling comprehensive, interoperable solutions for the benefit of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms and owner-operators. New and continuing collaborative agreements with other vendors were also announced. Bentley and Rebis also announced in a separate release an agreement under which Bentley has purchased a minority stake in Rebis, making Bentley the largest outside shareholder of Rebis. As part of this new relationship Rebis will incorporate and distribute MicroStation® V8 with its software. The MicroStationV8 bundling agreement allows Rebis, for the first time, to offer complete, turnkey solutions.
