Minsk, Belarus: The final preparation of Belarusian remote sensing (RS) satellite, BelKA-2, is underway, according to Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus. “We have made a new modern satellite. The main components, parts, including optics, have been developed by Belarusian,” said Alexander Lukashenko. He also said that Belarus had created its own flight control centre. All Belarusian space systems are adapted to Russian ones and will work smoothly.
Alexander Lukashenko added, “Belarus is now busy developing space industry technologies. Belarusian parts are used in Russian satellites. Belarus also makes components for China’s space industry.”
