Azerbaijan’s cartographic body connected to e-govt portal

Baku, Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan has recorded rise in the number of state bodies connected to e-government portal. To date, over 20 state bodies of the country are connected to the portal among which are State Land and Cartography, Statistics, Securities, Urban Planning and Architecture committees, Social Protection Fund, Azerenerji, Communication and Information Technologies, Tax, Internal Affairs, Education, Labor and Social Protection, Emergency Situations, Justice, Economic Development Ministries as well as State Customs Committee and so on.

Communication and Information Technologies Ministry reported that National Archive Department has also been connected to the portal.

According to the experts of Communication and Information Technologies Ministry, there are a lot of state bodies applying for connecting to the portal but not all are technically ready for it.

To date over 20 state bodies are connected to the portal, which activated over 75 electronic state services out of supposed 400 and more services.
