AppGeo awarded Massachusetts contract for GIS services

USA: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has awarded Applied Geographics, Inc. (AppGeo) a blanket contract for ITS33 Solutions Providers for the planning and implementation of GIS. The ITS33 contract is the primary statewide contract used by Commonwealth agencies for the procurement of GIS services. It runs through June 2010. Government agencies, municipalities, and other public institutions within the Commonwealth are all able to use the contract.

AppGeo was awarded this competitive contract based on project experience, staff expertise and capacity, and proven performance on over one hundred projects done under previous Massachusetts ITS blanket contracts. Under the terms of this contract, AppGeo is pre-qualified to provide its GIS services: data conversion and maintenance, database design and application development, custom application development and systems integration, technical support, and web services, including Website hosting.
The contract provides a streamlined way for qualified Massachusetts entities, as well as Connecticut municipalities bordering Massachusetts, to efficiently contract with AppGeo.
