India: India’s science and technology minister Jitendra Singh, has revealed that India has earned about 100 million dollars from launching 45 foreign satellites till date. What’s more, the revenue earned from ISRO’s commercial arm, called Antrix, will grow even more in the next two years. Antrix has signed agreements for launching another 28 foreign satellites into orbit. Until now, 45 satellites from 19 countries have been launched by ISRO. Out of these, the most recent launch was earlier this month when Antrix launched five satellites for the United Kingdom into space.
