The International PROGIS Conference, which will take place in Faak am See/Carinthia/Austria from 10th until 12th of September. During their spring conference in Budapest, they gave new insights concerning managing agricultural enterprises to participants coming from NGO’s, private organisations, governments and universities of 15 different countries. In some of the speeches, given from international specialists, was spoken also about future ideas and strategies, which are now partly manifested in the new, reformed agricultural policy called CAP, which was decided on 26th of June by the EU agricultural ministers in Luxembourg. The key elements are: environment, food safety, competition, market orientation, transparency , quality assurance, cross compliance of agronomical decisions – PROGIS software is ready for it.
From 10th until 12th of September 2003 they will introduce the product line with all details within many technical workshops. Mainly the new product family WinGIS 2003 with all its features and benefits, the new PROGIS MapServer and other GIS based solutions will be shown. Their agricultural flagship product called AGROffice, which is integrating (Geo)traceability, Invekos Field Profitability Calculations, Thematic Maps, Logistics, Fertilizer Recommendations and Precision Farming will be presented. Software and technology for single farmers or as service and consultant solutions for complete regions/countries, being already in practice.
