Headquartered in Ottawa, Canada with offices in Europe AmberCore software, the provider of spatial decision support systems has recently announced the release of Amber iQ 2.6 delivering advanced Google Earth functionality, AmberCore’s 3D Block Model and significant new features for large data set processing. Amber iQ 2.6 enhances the support of the Google Earth application by allowing users to export both vector and raster data generated in Amber iQ to the Keyhole Markup Language (KML) format. Interactive support continues to accelerate allowing users to specify KML database fields accessible in Google Earth.
Amber iQ 2.6 now also features a 3D Block Model viewer unique to GIS systems. Compared to traditional GIS products AmberCore’s probabilistic 3D Block Model allows users to view, manipulate and analyze data in a number of sophisticated new ways. Amber iQ 2.6 also continues to expand its’ ability to store and process large data sets.
