Alteryx and MapmyIndia to build BI network in India

California, US: CE Info Systems, popularly known as MapmyIndia, announced a partnership with Alteryx to spatially enable India’s business intelligence (BI) data infrastructure. In support of MapmyIndia’s navigational networks and databases, the Alteryx technology platform will integrate strategic BI analytics into the company’s national system that’s exploding along with the Indian economy.

Alteryx CEO and President Dean Stoecker, said, “Within India’s tremendous but fragmented markets and demographics, this system will deliver unprecedented analytic leverage across the country’s growing business and consumer sectors. The outsourcing boom, a young population and ascendant middle class have created a critical-mass BI and demographic opportunity for retail, food, telecom, financial and other global brands that are tapping into this emerging market.”

Shivalik Prasad, MapmyIndia director, said, “Together, we’re bringing strategic vision, consumer insight and competitive advantage to our customers working in this challenging environment where brand loyalty is so difficult to achieve.”

The partnership will launch www.freedemographicsindia.com site utilising MapmyIndia’s vast spatial data offerings and capabilities. The strategic alliance will function on multiple levels, with MapmyIndia serving not only as data supplier to Alteryx, but as exclusive distributor, systems integrator and authorized Alteryx training partner as well.
