Aiken County, South Carolina is implementing NovaLIS Technologies’ Assessment Office solution automate the county’s property appraisal and administration practices.
Aiken County selected NovaLIS’ Assessment Office as its new computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system because of its outstanding geographic information system (GIS) integration, workflow, and flexibility. These state-of-the-art capabilities provided the county with a clear choice to improve the flow of property and other land information among departments, as it modernizes its land-based computer applications.
Using NovaLIS’ Assessment Office and ESRI’s GIS products, the county will be able to substantially improve the flow of property and related data among departments. These tightly integrated products will provide the County with its best opportunity to reduce duplicate entry of addresses and parcel attribute data by sharing a single database. They will also enable the county to publish data securely online to users needing access.
