The Authority for Surveying and Geoinformation of the Federal State of Hamburg has awarded AED-SICAD a contract for the development of migration programs, i.e., ‘Authoritative Topographic Cartographic Information System’ to the lately introduced new German standard ATKIS/ALKIS (Authoritative Real Estate Information System).

The contract has been signed following a country-wide tender in which various GIS vendors participated. The data migration into the new data model, created by the Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV), is one of the key introduction tasks for the new cadastre standard “ALKIS”. AED-SICAD will develop the software based on ESRI’s ArcGIS technology.
